The Computer Society of West Florida (CSWF) and the RAG Computer Interest Group (RAG CIG) are organized as computer user groups to provide a forum for communicating ideas and increasing the effectiveness of users of Personal Computers and their related software and peripherals.

The monthly meetings are from 9:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. at public facilities in the Escambia County Florida area.  RAG CIG Meetings that are held on the same day as the CSWF Regular Meeting are usually scheduled for the 9:00 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. period.  The CSWF Regular Meetings are usually held during the 10:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. period.  And it is during this period that we normally have the Computer Round Table Discussions.  The last 20 minutes of the Regular Meetings periods may be reserved for scheduled Business Meetings, or Presentations and Discussions with the CSWF Projector.

Periodically by invitation CSWF and RAG CIG Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings are at held at the above or other facilities in the Escambia and Santa Rosa County Florida area.  For example,  RAG CIG Microsoft Vista SIG Meetings, and CSWF Microsoft Office 2007 SIG meetings.

Visitors are welcome to attend most meetings and, at the discretion of the meeting moderator, may be permitted to participate during the Round Table portion of the meetings.

Visitors and members should feel free to come in to or leave our meetings at any time during the meeting period, as long as they do so quietly.  And meeting attendees are respectfully requested to get up and go outside for one-on-one conversations with other attendees, or to respond to cell phone calls; so that their personal discussions won't disturb the other attendees who are participating in the group meeting.

The CSWF Organization Year is September 1 of the current year through August 31 of the following year.  The Dues Year is May 1 of the current year through April 30 of the following year.  Annual Dues are $12.00.  Dues for new members are prorated.  For example, if someone became a member at the January meeting they would pay $4.00 for the remainder of the Dues Year.  (January through April of the current year.)  Checks should be made out to "CSWF Treasurer, Charles Spencer," and may be sent to Charles Spencer, 2403 Belleflower Road, Pensacola, FL  32526-8810.

After the meetings, attendees are invited to attend a no-host luncheon at a location decided on by the members following the meeting.
